The Director reports to the DEHU_DOAS President and is a partner to enable profitable growth by leading and managing the Therma-Stor business and overall DEHU and DOAS Group sourcing strategy. The position is a hands-on leader helping develop best-in-class strategies and processes that align customer needs to the optimal global supply network that improves efficiencies, cost, working capital, and risk mitigation. The leader is a visionary in supply chain, a consensus builder, and an integrator of people and processes; collaborating across business units to affect positive change. As a member of the Senior Leadership Staff, the position aids in setting Business Unit budgets, goals, resource allocations, and strategic direction to expectations and critical business needs.
Essential Functions:
Utilize 80/20 tools to actively reduce supplier and supply chain complexity
Design and implement global commodity management strategies to decrease risk, increase OTD, and deliver 4% annual savings on the suppliers that aren't driven by commodity prices
Develop overarching global Supply Chain strategy – ensuring significant focus on customer expectations to achieve growth targets
Integrate and facilitate the relationship with business leaders throughout the organization, aligning the Supply Chain Strategy to other business objectives, goals, and outcomes
Design, implement, administer, and monitor best-in-class Supply Chain policies, processes, systems, and advanced technologies
Develop and monitor business-level KPIs, measuring all aspects of procurement, inventory, cost savings, supplier effectiveness, and process adherence across multiple business units
Ensure successful negotiation of all major spends and procurement agreements
Assess current processes and lead the relationships/partnerships with all critical suppliers
Lead the development of suppliers to ensure they exceed regulatory, and legal requirements
Drive results with a sense of urgency and diplomacy through superior change management techniques

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering.
A minimum of 15 years progressive global sourcing and purchasing experience, and a minimum of 10 years in a personnel leadership role.
Proven success in meeting aggressive cost reduction, supplier negotiation and productivity targets.
Advanced analytical abilities and problem-solving techniques in understanding data collection and the ability to develop intuitive and actionable insights
Thorough knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office software and ERP systems
Travel up to 50%, some international travel.
Must be able to maintain a valid passport.
Preferred:
Manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
MBA Preferred
CPSM and/or APICS certified
