Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Director, Speaker Engagement at Scoop News Group. As a Director, Speaker Engagement, you will be responsible for managing and cultivating relationships with influential speakers from both government and the tech industry. You will work closely with our events team to identify and secure top-tier speakers for our events. This role is located in the Washington DC-Baltimore Area, with flexibility for some remote work.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in speaker engagement, event management, or related fields
• Strong network and relationships within the government and tech industry
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to identify and recruit influential speakers
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Experience with event planning and logistics
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
