The Role

As the Director of Social Media, you'll oversee all aspects of our social media strategy and operations. From setting goals and establishing channel strategies to leading and managing our social media team, your role will be pivotal in shaping our brand's online presence.

Your priority will be establishing and implementing social media strategies for each channel, ensuring alignment with our brand platform and marketing goals. Working closely with our creative team, you'll manage the creative execution of all social content. Collaboration with our Marketing Department and other internal teams will be key to your success.

In addition to managing our social team, you'll conduct market research, identify trends, and engage with target audiences. Your cultural sensitivity and understanding of social media landscapes will inform your decisions as you navigate the ever-evolving online world.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement communication strategies for all social channels (Instagram, TikTok, Meta, LinkedIn).

Analyze data to optimize social performance and improve strategy.

Collaborate with creative leads to manage social media creative and campaigns.

Work with internal marketing partners to strategically utilize partnerships and influencers.

Maintain a high awareness of social media cultures and identify potential risks.

Mentor and develop the social media team.

Requirements

10+ years of experience in social media, preferably as a Social Media Strategist.

Strong leadership skills with at least 3 years of experience in coaching and mentoring a team.

Ability to analyze and integrate data into clear creative briefs.

Deep understanding of major social media platforms and their best practices.

Familiarity with social media culture and subcultures, particularly among Millennials.

Experience In Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Industry Preferred.

Compensation

$150,000-$170,000 base salary + bonus
