Purpose:
Use commercial expertise and the ability to collaborate across the organization to lead a team of sales professionals and support resources to exceed revenue and profitability targets for a dedication region.
Responsibilities:
Provides sales leadership and overall coordination of the Western Hemisphere Hot Tapping and Plugging Products and services sales teams, and channel partners
Establishes and maintains awareness of competitor product/service pricing, delivery and competitive actions, and recommends changes to maintain a competitive position
Demonstrates leadership - Selects, manages, evaluates, motivates, and develops employees to ensure a high performing team necessary to meet company objectives.
Collaborates cross functionally to ensure demand order estimates, effective handovers, smooth fulfilment and the functional improvement of the WH Business Unit
Drives continuous improvement to ensure a commercial focus is optimized through the Sales organization & beyond
Education/Training
Bachelor’s degree, MBA preferred
Experience
Previous experience managing people in commercial roles across broad geographic span.
Previous work experience in the pipeline industry
Previous experience driving improvements within a commercial organization and collaborating to ensure business unit goals are met
Physical Requirements
Travel 50% of time
