General Summary

Rise Broadband is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sr. Director of Sales to join our team. This position will have responsibility to achieve our monthly and quarterly sales objectives that directly impact our key business objectives. This position will play a critical role in building and enhancing our internal door-to-door sales team and process, managing our door-to-door vendor partners, and overseeing our small business and MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) sales teams and processes. Additionally, the Sr. Director of Sales will manage the inside sales process and system, working closely with the call center VP who oversees the inside sales team members.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities

  • Internal Door-to-Door Sales Team and Process:
  • Lead the door-to-door sales team in achieving their monthly quarterly sales targets.
  • Develop and implement strategies to build and enhance the internal door-to-door sales team.
  • Optimize the door-to-door sales process for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Set performance metrics, track progress, and ensure team targets are met.
  • Small Business and MDU Sales Teams:
  • Lead and manage the small business and MDU sales teams in achieving their monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Develop sales strategies tailored to small businesses and MDUs.
  • Monitor team performance and provide ongoing training and support.
  • Channel Management:
  • Manage relationships with and performance of door-to-door sales vendor partners to ensure they achieve their monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Ensure vendor partners meet performance standards and contractual obligations.
  • Evaluate and select new vendor partners as needed.
  • Sales Operations Process and System:
  • Work with the inside sales call center leadership to ensure the inside sales team hits their monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Oversee the inside sales process and ensure its alignment with overall sales strategy.
  • Collaborate with the call center VP to optimize the inside sales system.
  • Implement tools and technologies to improve the efficiency of the entire sales process to ensure we hit our monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Collaboration and Reporting:
  • Work closely with the Vice President of Sales and Marketing to align sales strategies with company goals.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, and other departments to support overall business objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in sales leadership, particularly in residential door-to-door and B2B sales.
  • Strong vendor management experience.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze sales data and make strategic decisions.
  • Proficiency in sales CRM and other relevant software.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70%.

Working Conditions

  • Employee remains in the sitting position for prolonged hours. Employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
