Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead and build out a new team tasked with the rebuilding of solar sites to maximize power production. This role is pivotal in our mission to enhance sustainability and efficiency through innovative solar energy solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and build a team from the ground up, dedicated to repowering solar and battery storage assets.
• Manage the entire project lifecycle from planning through execution and closeout.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, procurement, and operations teams to optimize project design and execution.
• Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and enhance project outcomes.
• Monitor project progress and performance metrics; report regularly to senior management.

Our Ideal Candidate will have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• 10 years’ experience as a project manager in the renewable energy sector, specifically with solar projects.
• Demonstrated success in managing a high volume of solar sites, retrofit processes and repowering sites.
• Experience with utility-scale solar projects and knowledge of relevant regulations and codes.
• Must be accustomed to use financial tools and knowledge to determine economic viability of various projects.
• Familiarity with sustainable construction practices and energy optimization techniques.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a diverse team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to interface effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
