As a key member of the KBNA Supply Chain organization, the Director, Production Control will be responsible for improving the supply chain and materials management in the existing and new KBNA manufacturing plants. Activities will include strategic and day-to-day support to the supply chain and materials plant teams.
This position heads a team of Supply Chain functions and specialists charged with exceeding customer satisfaction, leveraging Supply Chain Systems resources as needed across our operations and managing the associated project and program portfolios. Directs program activities over the complete project life cycle and ensures process improvement methodologies and best practices are utilized to achieve tangible business results.
Specific Responsibilities
The salary range for this position is $156,000 - $201,900. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate’s experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.

Specific Responsibilities
- Support achievement of KBNA sales and growth, ensuring customer orders are fulfilled within target lead-times.
- Ensure Supply Chain processes, systems and organization readiness for materials management of KBNA plants Maintain an optimum stock value of purchased materials and components in KBNA plants
- Ensure proper design, deployment and use of system parameters and metrics to avoid overstock and shortages. Support KBNA plants on monitoring and procuring the critical materials to avoid manufacturing downtime Creates and maintains tools that will allow KBNA to identify when financial impact is supplier’s responsibility.
- Work with other global and plant teams to maintain an optimum inbound freight level.
- Define and execute a comprehensive strategy for regional deployment and integration of the SC Operating System. Continually develop of the K&B Supply Chain Model which is rooted in Supply Chain Operations Reference Model (SCOR) insuring its ongoing, consistent application throughout the business.
- Define and execute strategy for integrating supply chain continuous improvement methodologies in coordinated efforts with corporate driven strategies.
- Ensure timely and proper Supply Chain setup for NPDs, promotions and other strategies that will impact future demand.
- Position requires a B.S. degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Systems or a related field. Master’s degree a plus.
- +10 years of related experience and +5 years of management experience with direct reports. Knowledge and experience with lean manufacturing and project management techniques are highly valued.
- Operations experience in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills are essential. Must have direct people management experience.
- Must be capable of, and experienced in, working with different functional areas (operations, purchasing, logistics, finance, engineering, sales and customer service) and companies throughout the supply chain (customers, vendors, 3PLs, Joint Ventures and outsourcing suppliers).
- Exceptional Excel and ERP experience is required. Strong analytical skills are needed.
- Must be capable of defining, analyzing and resolving complicated problems.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
