We're looking for a dynamic leader to join our team as a Director of Procurement Operations. In this pivotal role, you will drive global strategies for a diverse range of products and services, overseeing substantial financial investments. Your primary focus will be to develop innovative sourcing strategies that not only deliver significant cost savings but also foster stronger supplier relationships.
Responsibilities
Strategic Category Management:
Develop and execute comprehensive business plans for global product categories.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
Stakeholder Engagement
Act as a trusted advisor, influencing senior executives on global projects that span multiple departments.
Global Execution
Analyze and monitor global procurement needs, integrating local, regional, and global expenditures.
Identify opportunities for enhanced sourcing initiatives and supplier performance improvements.
Sourcing Strategy And Negotiation
Lead initiatives for supplier consolidation, supply chain efficiencies, and cost savings.
Negotiate complex contracts with key global and regional suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and service levels.
Performance And Compliance
Collaborate with Supplier Relationship Management to oversee supplier performance against KPIs and SLAs.
Ensure rigorous supplier qualification processes and compliance with company standards.
Team Leadership
Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development.
Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing procurement team to achieve both individual and organizational goals.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree Or Equivalent Experience Required.
Minimum of 10-15 years in strategic procurement, vendor management, or related fields.
