Leadership Accountabilities

  • Responsible for developing and implementing communications plans that embed Casamigos in key cultural moments and deliver Press and editorial mentions in the right environments.
  • Partner in leading Influencer, Earned and Integrated Communications strategies that are aligned with brand strategy, drive reach and build relevance.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking, translation of strategies into differentiated plans for the brand
  • Manage agency partners to ensure they are familiar with and follow Diageo guidelines for building brands and for responsible marketing.
  • Work with Procurement to ensure all partnership contracts are compliant and well structured.
  • Work with commercial teams (Customer Planning and Activation, Commercial Heads, National Accounts) to leverage opportunities commercially and locally
  • Maintain a strong internal control and compliance environment consistent with the Diageo Marketing Code, Digital and Social Media Guidelines, and Diageo compliance policies.

Complexity Of The Role

  • Requires experience in the earned advocacy field, including integrated communications strategies, influencer management, contextual brand integration, project management
  • A proven ability to implement programs consecutively with consistent success
  • Strong influencing and negotiation capabilities involved working with senior brand partners both internally and externally
  • Ability to motivate and inspire agencies and brand partners
  • A self-starter who can easily shift between strategy and execution

Key Outputs & Deliverables

  • Bring forth ideas and programs for Casamigos that drive brand fame, earned value and in culture
  • Develop and implement integrated campaigns and programs that drive shareholder value and generate growth against core brand and business objective
  • Effectively manage agencies and additional 3rd parties for best in class program ideation, implementation and delivery of results within budget and scope of work
  • Manage process from concept to implementation, engaging important cross-functional partners along the way

Professional Experience & Qualifications

  • 8+ plus years of relevant experience with a record of leading and implementing integrated in culture programs with experience in highly regulated industries
  • Vast understanding of Public Relations, Experiential Marketing and Influencer Marketing.
  • Authentic communicator with experience working successfully with multiple brand partners

Education

  • Undergraduate degree - degree in marketing, business management, communications desirable.
