Role Description

This is a full-time Hybrid role. He/She will be responsible for Research Service Sales and Business development

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Online Research and Advisory. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in providing critical insights and strategic guidance to our clients, helping them navigate complex business environments and make sound investment decisions.

Important responsibilities in this role will include:

Strategic and Operational Leadership

• Maintaining and driving overall profitability of LOB/Sub LOB

• Driving and achieving revenue/topline as well as bottom-line

• Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Online Research Vertical , setting the vision, goals, and objectives for the team.

• Collaborate with different stakeholders to develop and execute the business strategy in alignment with the company's overall mission and goals.

• Collaborate with the sales team to develop and nurture client relationships.

• Lead a team of researchers and analysts in conducting in-depth research, industry analysis, and competitive intelligence.

• Oversee the development of comprehensive research reports, whitepapers, and presentations that provide actionable insights to clients.

• Develop, deliver, and create value in client 1) Transaction Services; 2) Valuations & Appraisals.

• Act as internal expert to client to deliver valuation services for financial reporting purposes

• Focus on transaction structuring and mergers and acquisitions and perform financial due diligence for client’s acquisition targets

Client Engagement:

• Oversee and lead client engagement - reach out to new clients, take lead in pitching new solutions, push team members to showcase value added analysis/new solutions to clients

• Work closely with clients to understand their specific business needs and objectives.

• Deliver high-quality services by translating research findings into actionable recommendations and strategies.

Team Management:

• Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of researchers and analysts.

• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

Thought Leadership:

• Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and market developments.

• Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, including speaking engagements, webinars, and publications.

Skills we’re looking for:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in Online research, leading teams and  delivering with innovation.

• Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and developing high-performing teams.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

• Deep industry knowledge and expertise in Research services.

• Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

• Proficiency in data analysis tools, market research methodologies, and industry databases.
