Director of Warehouse Services

Our client is looking to add a Director of Warehouse Services to their expanding team. This position will be responsible for inbound receiving, outbound shipping, best practices, as well as other duties that are outlined below.

Responsibilities

• Process Engineering
• Warehouse mapping
• WMS process review and development. Suggest & champion new WMS applications to fit AJ WW needs.
• Fluent in RF guns and all scanning processes both in/out
• Inventory Management & Control
• WMS oversight
• Quality Management
• Champion Constant Improvement in all DCs
• Space utilization & optimization
• Quality & production
• Labor and workforce allocations in conjunction with local warehouse mgmt.
• OS&D (Overages/Shortages/Damages) oversight
• Compliance & Safety Protocols
• OSHA regulatory
• Lead safety & health initiatives
• Claim management

Experience:

• 3-5 years of freight forwarding experience
• Experience with inbound & outbound receiving, along with warehouse mapping
• Proficiency in WMS
• Experience with various WMS applications
• Track Record of Continuous Improvement, demonstrated by Space utilization optimization, Quality enhancement & Labor efficiency improvements
• Compliance and Safety Knowledge
• Experience reviewing 3rd party warehouse contracts
