What You'll Do:

As the Director of Underwriting, you’ll be the driving force behind our pricing strategies, using your expertise to analyze data, assess risks, and create actionable solutions. Your role is crucial in enhancing our competitive edge and profitability by:

• Leading Pricing Analysis: Spearhead all pricing analysis initiatives and develop strategic insights.
• Evaluating Financial Performance: Assess the financial and utilization experience of clients and prospects to identify trends and opportunities.
• Crafting Strategies: Translate complex pricing data into innovative, profit-enhancing strategies.
• Collaborating Across Teams: Work closely with business development and operations to implement competitive pricing models.
• Providing Thought Leadership: Offer guidance, best practices, and analytic solutions to maintain our industry-leading position.
• Presenting Insights: Interpret and communicate statistical results to influence business decisions and drive action.
• Reporting ROI: Develop and share comprehensive reports on the return on investment for True Rx programs.
• Conducting Research: Perform in-depth research and analysis to provide data-driven recommendations and mitigate risks.
• Consulting on Pricing: Provide expert pricing and underwriting consultation to support proposal and sales teams.
• Analyzing Repricing Documents: Review and report on repricing documents to identify findings and opportunities.
• Identifying Trends: Detect and analyze liabilities, risks, and emerging trends in data.
• Driving Improvements: Proactively seek and implement opportunities for process and program enhancements.

What You Bring:

• Educational Excellence: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience; Finance or Business Degree preferred.
• Industry Expertise: Previous experience in a PBM role is a strong plus.
• Proven Leadership: Demonstrated leadership abilities with at least 3 years in drug pricing, financial analysis, or related fields in the managed care industry.
• Analytical Mastery: Exceptional critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Mathematical & Statistical Prowess: In-depth knowledge of mathematics and statistics.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient with spreadsheets and databases.
• Business Insight: Basic understanding of business and finance.
