Stealth Communications is seeking a highly qualified Director of Treasury Operations. As the Director, you will play a crucial role within the Treasury Department, supporting the executive management team. The ideal candidate will possess an extensive background in treasury operations, a hands-on approach, and a proactive mindset that aligns with our organization's goals.


This position requires security clearance and is based onsite in Washington, DC, New York City, and Pensacola.


Qualifications

  • Required: An active, transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government-issued security clearance.
  • Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • 15+ years of experience in liquidity, cash management, and cash forecasting.
  • Managed NAV (Net Asset Value) of cash and securities valued in excess of $100Bn.
  • Extensive experience in a senior treasury role, including debt instruments and derivatives.
  • Proven ability to direct, challenge, and review the work of direct reports.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with financial disclosures.
  • Excellent financial analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective verbal communication skills at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and maintain internal processes.
  • Strong influencing skills to achieve outcomes while developing positive relationships with banks, lenders, and internal stakeholders.
  • High level of professionalism and ethical performance standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure.


Responsibilities

Key Roles and Leadership:

  • Serve as a key member of the finance team.
  • Act as the main treasury contact for all subsidiary companies.
  • Act as the primary contact for banking partners and internal customers on all treasury matters.
  • Mentor and develop Treasury Analysts.

Operational Oversight:

  • Oversee all domestic and international treasury operations.
  • Monitor and manage daily cash positions, including intercompany balances and transfers.
  • Ensure completion of bank reconciliations and balance sheet control accounts each month.
  • Reconcile the group interest portfolio, ensuring balance sheet reconciliations and verifying G/L postings.
  • Oversee the management of short-term investment portfolios to optimize returns while ensuring liquidity needs are met.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Identify, assess, and manage financial risks including interest rate, foreign exchange, and liquidity risks.
  • Ensure timely filing of covenant certificates and reporting.
  • Develop and implement contingency plans for managing financial crises, including liquidity shortages and market disruptions.
  • Advocate best practices in Treasury Management and Reporting, including systems, cash pooling, and netting to facilitate smooth fund movements within the group.

Strategic Planning and Analysis:

  • Provide strategic input on financial planning, capital structure, and funding strategies to support business growth and expansion.
  • Provide technical expertise in treasury matters at both operational and strategic levels.
  • Contribute to monthly management accounting, ensuring cash reporting is understood for informed decision-making by senior management and the board of directors.
  • Provide input to financial statements on cash and debt disclosures.

Cash Flow Management:

  • Develop and maintain cash flow forecast models (daily, weekly, monthly, annual) to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations.
  • Coordinate the monthly cash flow forecasting process, challenging assumptions provided in cash flow returns.

Foreign Exchange and Derivatives:

  • Manage FX trading, including spots, derivatives, and hedging programs.
  • Expert in the calculation, accounting, and analysis of loan interest and hedging.

Project Management and Improvement:

  • Lead treasury improvement projects, ensuring best value and practice across the group, including software automation initiatives.
