Bridgestone HosePower, LLC is the Premier distributor of Hydraulic and Industrial hose products for over 39 years. Due to increasing growth and business demands, HosePower is seeking an innovative, collaborative and action-oriented Director of Training & Development to join our Orange Park, FL based Corporate Office. The Director of Training & Development will design, implement and oversee all learning and development programs within the organization aligned with the objectives and strategy of the company.
As a Training & Development Manager You Will
Collaborate with department leaders to identify training opportunities, create training materials and develop training strategies
Develop group and individual courses
Plan programs based on business goals
Identify training needs using skill gap analysis and performance reviews
Conduct orientation programs and arranging on-the-job training for new hires
Develop programs to assist employees with transitions due to technological changes, acquisitions and mergers
Assess the skills, performance, productivity and talents of employees in the company and prepare written evaluations with advice for improvement
Create leadership development programs for lower-level employees
Implement coaching sessions and mentorship programs to establish a culture of continuous learning
Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make the necessary adjustments
Identify future training needs and create a curriculum to facilitate that training
Ensure compliance with training regulations and requirements
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Working experience as a Training Director, Training Manager or similar role
In-depth understanding of traditional and modern training methods including workshops, e-learning and coaching
Experience organizing training activities in a corporate environment
Proficiency in LMS (Learning Management Systems) like LMS365
Excellent communication, decision making and problem-solving skills
Good collaborative and teamwork skills
Strong leadership and project management skills
Have demonstrated experience in content creation, maintenance of training processes, and the successful development of ongoing training and development programs.
