Director of Technical Services, Salt Caverns and Brine

Locations: Houston area, Beaumont area, possibly in Louisiana or other

Company working with salt caverns/underground salt deposits and brine extraction needs a corporate director and subject matter expert in all aspects of resource evaluation and extraction of brine from salt dome type deposits.

Key Requirements - no exceptions

• Degree in engineering, geology, geophysics, petroleum engineering
• At least 15 years of senior and strategic experience in salt cavern/dome brine deposits as related to resource evaluation, engineering, management, mining, planning, risks, etc.

Position

• Evaluation of actual and potential salt deposits associated with brine fields and salt caverns
• Deposit management from resource definition to actively mined/extraction asset management
• Long term deposit planning (extraction, definition, expansion, modeling, etc)
• Key part of site safety program design and management
• Management of assorted contractors/subs: drilling, testing, maintenance, etc
• Deposit extraction methods and rate management and coordination with multiple sites in the company
• Significant experience with regulatory management

Requirements

• Degree in appropriate engineering, geology, geophysics, petroleum engineering, etc
• 15+ years of experience. More is better
• Already regarded as a subject matter expert in salt deposit development, brine extraction, risk management, etc
• Will sponsor TN or E-3 visa
