Cuberg, a Northvolt company based in Silicon Valley, is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead and optimize our end-to-end supply chain operations. As a leader in next-generation battery technology, Cuberg is leveraging its state-of-the-art lithium-ion manufacturing capabilities to rapidly scale up production of advanced batteries for a sustainable future. The Director of Supply Chain will play a key role in developing and executing supply chain strategies that support business objectives while ensuring efficient and cost-effective operations.

Responsibilities
Develop and execute supply chain strategies to ensure timely delivery of materials, equipment, and services
Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance
Optimize inventory levels to balance customer demand and minimize carrying costs
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve supply chain efficiency and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Oversee logistics and transportation activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of products
Implement and manage key performance metrics to measure and improve supply chain performance
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and develop contingency plans
Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations management, related field or equivalent in years of experience
8+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the battery manufacturing industry
Proven experience in developing and executing supply chain strategies
Excellent communication interpersonal skills and problem solving skills
Experience with supplier management and contract negotiation
Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices
Familiarity with logistics and transportation processes
Experience with ERP systems and supply chain software

The target US compensation range for this full-time position is $150,000-$250,000 + equity + benefits. Compensation ranges are determined by level, role and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hire total cash compensation (base + bonus), individual pay is determined by additional factors including relevant job-related skills, experience and additional factors.
