The new Edge Church of Austin is looking for skilled executing leaders in the following areas:
Production Manager
This person would oversee and/or execute all tasks necessary to make Sunday morning worship experiences happen and flow. It involves everything from creating the weekly media presentation and worship flow as well as scheduling sound, media, lighting, video camera, photographers, livestreaming, backstage hands and other volunteers to carry out the production aspects of the worship experience. This person would also produce or “call the shots” of the worship flow during each worship experience and multiply and develop other volunteer producers who could do the same. In addition, he or she would oversee, set up, and tear down all audio/visual equipment before and after worship experiences.
Marketing & Social Media
This person would organize, plan and execute all marketing campaigns including mass mail ads, social media posts and campaigns on Facebook, Instagram and other platforms. In addition, this person would update and maintain Edge Church’s website, SEO, Google business and oversee all web development including the YouTube channel and other web platforms where Edge stores and provides content.
Administrative Assistant
This person is an all-purpose support staff member who has an anything/everything mentality. This person is a flexible learner who will assist in accomplishing a variety of tasks and possesses a true “get it done” mindset. He or she would help with event planning, scheduling volunteers, and creating printed materials for Sunday worship experiences such as connect cards, sermon outlines and worship folders. This person needs to be a high performing multitasker who can juggle several things at once, organized and proficient in Excel, Word and more.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
This could be one, two or several people depending on skillsets. These could be paid part time, full time, mega volunteers or any combination of the three. It is crucial that these high-capacity leaders possess abilities in team building as well as recruiting and developing leaders.
