As a Director of Strategic Thought Leadership – Food Insights, you are responsible for all client activity and the overall success of NielsenIQ at the customer. This includes driving actionable, timely, and high-quality strategic insights to help accelerate client growth trajectories.

This is a client-facing position that requires being onsite weekly in Hanover, NJ.

Job Description
  • Routinely and efficiently lead the creation of compelling, high-quality perspectives and deliverables to address the client’s growth questions
    • Outputs to include a strategy framework to simplify complex ideas and organize our analyses 
    • Integrate analyses from across NIQ's solutions

    • Demonstrate market expertise, establishing a POV, and offering actionable recommendations
    • Writing for an executive audience (i.e., using an economy of words) and creating opportunities to engage client organizations   

    • Leading the creation of routine insights outputs and leverage outputs to share with client leaders and educate our internal audiences
    • Prepare thought leadership materials and present/publish in appropriate forums with support from analytics associates capable of conducting the direct data analysis
    • Create tools and frameworks to help other Customer Success Insights associates create outputs
  • Excellent client service orientation: great social poise and persuasive communication skills to work effectively with different personalities, plus the drive to deliver high-quality results to wow clients and earn their respect & recognition
  • Drive business opportunities and actionable recommendations that enable our client to win
Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in the Food industry from food manufacturing, CPG, and/or consulting
  • Relevant experience with research techniques & solutions in the related industries of Consumer-Packaged Goods, Consulting, Information, Sales, Analytics or similar
  • Effective in senior-level communications, influencing & negotiation
  • Excellent awareness of market conditions and client business environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Ability to be onsite 2-3 days a week
