Adecco has partnered with a well-funded fin-tech company specializing in Lending, Banking and SAAS. It is seeking a full-time, hands on Director of Information Security to join their growing security division. The role is fully remote and offers a competitive, Base + Bonus Package.


The ideal candidate must have 10+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree and be a hands-on engineer (actively open to writing code with demonstrated automation skills), have experience securing SAAS and enterprise applications including Pentests and ensuring security Posture, and is comfortable leading security initiatives with a small team. This role will report to the CTO of the company.

Job Requirments

  • Bachelors or advanced degree in Computer Science, engineering, networking, information systems and/or 3+ years of experience in security technologies and/or engineering.
  • 15+ years of experience with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a lead role for a global enterprise company
  • Led the development and implementation of a comprehensive cybersecurity strategy in alignment with business objectives and industry best practices.
  • Can demonstrate experience overseeing security governance, risk management, and compliance programs to ensure adherence to relevant regulations and standards, including SOC 2/3, State/Federal RAMP authorizations, and other required standards
  • Implemented and maintained a robust security architecture covering network security, application security, cloud security, and endpoint protection in a previous role.
  • Showcase experience in recruiting, managing, and mentoring a high-performing information security team while promoting a culture of continuous learning and adaptation to emerging security threats and technologies
  • Successfully managed relationships with vendors, external partners, and stakeholders to ensure the security of third-party solutions and services, including evaluating their cybersecurity practices
  • This role requires an engineer who still actively writes code and has automation skills and bias.
  • Demonstrated experience in securing both SaaS platforms and enterprise applications, including penetration testing and ensuring security posture.
  • Candidates should have a proven track record of implementing automation solutions to optimize security operations, prioritizing automation initiatives over manual tasks.
  • Experience scaling a security program (Be able to Define and effectively deliver the cybersecurity roadmap aligned with organizational goals and industry best practices.
  • Experience in developing security functions and maturity in a fast-paced global organization, mitigating critical security risks, and implementing security technologies
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to achieve security objectives efficiently without a large team, demonstrating resource-consciousness and opex observance.
