ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Directs implementation and training of sales systems, tools, and processes.
  • Ensures communications are coordinated, support sales plan objectives and meet organizational expenditure requirements in conjunction with Vice President of Sales
  • Routinely recommends sales strategies, tools, and systems for improvement based on team needs, changing markets, and growing challenges of the company.
  • Recruits, coaches, and manages sales operations team members capable of conducting sales operations and service operations initiatives.
  • Create and maintain a process for accountability with daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly goals.
  • Maintain a high-level relationship with key customers while partnering with them to better understand industry-specific trends and landscapes.
  • Develop tools to help the team exceed annual sales targets and goals.
  • Help develop and manage compensation and career planning strategy for team members.
  • Shape the sales culture and set a high example for all members of the sales organization.
  • Effectively run weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings with team members
  • Efficiently delegate daily tasks so that time is free for coaching and employee development.
  • Organize and prioritize a myriad of competing projects and needs from the sales team. Continue to reprioritize and implement as projects are completed.
  • Implement vision that is cast by executive team and always have a high-level command and understanding of the projects necessary to move company toward that vision.
  • Manage talent pool and play to the strengths of the team while efficiently dealing with underperformance.
  • 1on1 coaching, use of company software for tracking and surveying methods outlined by leadership.
  • Stay up to date on modern sales and training methods, tools, and processes from other industries and companies.
  • Assist in high level sales conversations when needed.
  • Create annual plans and forecasts for the sales operations department.
  • All other duties and tasks as assigned.


NON-ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Helping to enter new part numbers into the system.
  • Filling and sorting of key sales documents
  • Organizing travel and trade show details


PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift to fifteen (15) pounds.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

PREFERRED:

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Sales or business-related field
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in professional sales position or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of overhead door industry and products
  • Knowledge of Salesforce CRM recommended.

  • Travels as required based on business needs.
