We are working with our client Player Design, Inc in seeking a Director of Sales and Marketing, to be based remotely with travel to client sites.

Requirements of the Director of Sales and Marketing:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or Business Administration preferred
• Self-directed individual with initiative, drive, and determination to aggressively grow sales volumes
• OEM Equipment Sales: 5 years minimum, 10+ years preferred
• Experience with brand development and management of online presence required
• Knowledge of engineering techniques, ability to read blueprints and understand the technical concerns of clients
• Exceptional communication skills
• Travel is required (30-50%)

Benefits of the Job:

• Base salary in the range of $140,000 - $180,000 + commission

Responsibilities of the Director of Sales and Marketing:

• Seek out and identify sales opportunities, strategic partners and sales agents as required. Target specific manufacturing industries and/or regions throughout North America.
• Build customer relationships through networking, referrals and develop customer relationships. Must have established track record of growing sales and increasing customer base in new markets.
• Effective communication with management and engineering teams
• Have/Develop knowledge of market and on major technologies typically found in these markets. Understand advantages and value proposition of our product line.
• Be active in relevant trade associations, attend/display trade shows. Develop relationships with key partners in industry to facilitate growth through partnerships.

Player Design, Inc is a leader in solid fuel energy systems and industrial drying systems. This position reports to the President and will be responsible for leading capital equipment negotiations, communicating effectively, becoming technically proficient with customer’s manufacturing operations, and improving the value of PDI’s portfolio of products for our customers.
