The Talent Search Group at PiP is working with the world-leader in scientific research and education video resources for Higher Education and Research Libraries. We are seeking a Director of Sales to oversee the sales operations for the North America Higher Ed market.
This position reports to the SVP of Revenue. Salary range is $140-150K plus commission.
Responsibilities:
Take leadership of established regional sales teams across US and Canada
Direct and coordinate the sales activities of the team to generate new opportunities in the company’s largest single market
Develop sales talent to prepare the next generation of Account Managers for the growing line up of STEM video titles.
Manage a large book of renewal business
Meet and exceed the assigned sales targets in the Americas
Monitor buyer/influencer motivations, competition, and sales cycle to determine focus of sales efforts.
Coordinate with the marketing, customer success, and sales development teams to expand our business year over year.
Requirements
A Bachelor’s Degree
5+ years of direct experience managing a sales team
10+ years of experience in sales
Good working understanding of higher education market across region
Experience working in education technology is preferred
