Director of Sales

The Director of Sales will serve as a strategic partner to the Chief Growth Officer and be a pivotal component to rater8’s continued growth trajectory. You will be accountable for overseeing rater8’s team of Solutions Consultants; growing annual recurring revenue; developing sales playbooks and workflows; improving presentation and negotiation skills; and ensuring timely, accurate and thorough documentation.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead rater8’s sales representatives (Solutions Consultants) and outcomes; own revenue scale, projections, and associated sales funnel metrics.
  • Be accountable for all revenue generation processes (excluding SDR function) and collaborating effectively with our SDR, Professional Services, and Marketing teams.
  • Manage high performing sales representatives who can meet short-term revenue targets and scale for long-term success; develop training and talent retention strategies.
  • Offer consistent tactical support to Solutions Consultants, including but not limited to: improving demo/presentation skills, overcoming objections, negotiating deals, etc.
  • Collaborate with the SDR management team to ensure the close alignment of goals and to build a supportive and growth-oriented sales culture.
  • Share value-adding metrics and data insights with the Chief Growth Officer and across the organization.

What You’ll Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in sales leadership for healthcare SaaS products, developing and implementing new markets, channels and other strategic relationships, building and optimizing predictive revenue models, and scaling for growth.
  • Strong, credible leader, comfortable leading a team through rapid growth;
  • Excellent organizational, analytical and management skills;
  • Strong, inclusive communicator with the ability to drive collaboration in a dynamic, fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to manage, motivate and retain top talent, delegate effectively, celebrate individual and collective achievements, and ensure a high level of performance.
  • Strong team player, track record of building positive relationships with peers and others within the company, quick to share credit and praise the success of others;
  • Strong executive presence; highly influential both externally with customers and partners as well as internally with employees and at the senior management level.
