If you’re ready to elevate account relationships, directly manage broker relationships and work with our Sales leaders across Channels, (and more), our company is searching for a Director of Sales for our Kroger business! This position will be in Cincinnati, OH.

  • Setting goals, tracking and planning is essential for success. As Mr. Benjamin Franklin famously quoted, “If you fail to plan, you plan to fail”.
  • Fire drills don’t scare you – in fact you run towards the fire!


What you will do:

  • Act as the primary Sales contact for Kroger relationships with ownership of all things related to account management and sales performance.
  • Work with the Senior leader’s strategic initiatives to deliver annual plan objectives.
  • Ensure regular communication and alignment on account progress with cross-functional partners.
  • Directly manage broker relationships to maximize performance through annual goal setting, progress check-ins, and commission reporting.
  • Elevate account relationships across all Kroger commodities, cultivating strategic partnerships for growth.  
  • Plan sales and forecast throughout the year. Review quarterly to understand gaps and execute against.
  • Analyze past business performance to build improved sales plans.
  • Work with corporate chefs and product development to plan products based on industry trends and insights.
  • Travel up to 30%


Your experience:

  • 7+ years Sales Manager experience in grocery channels in the US is required.
  • Prior experience in CPG food/beverage is required.
  • Strong knowledge of category management, sales strategy and planning is necessary.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Relationship experience with retail/grocery and brokers.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required or equivalent work experience.
