Atlanta Design Group, Inc. (ADG) headquartered in Norcross, GA has an immediate opening for a Director of Sales reporting to the President & CEO. ADG is a full-service interior design support company comprised of specialized brands catering specifically to Interior Designers, Architects and the Design-Build community. ADG is seeking an experienced Director of Sales to oversee it ADG Home division. ADG Home is made up of three full-service to-the-trade showrooms of fine furniture and accessories, kitchen and bath and outdoor living products. ADG Home has three showrooms; ADG Home Interiors; ADG Home Outdoor Living and ADG Home Kitchen & Bath each of these showrooms carries the most distinguished and recognizable manufacturers in their industry.
The Director of Sales will be responsible for managing and delivering exceptional Customer Service and achieving annual sales goals. This role is responsible for establishing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy and developing and leading the sales team. We are looking to find someone wo can assist the company in developing our ADG Home Brand and position it as the prominent showrooms in furniture, outdoor and kitchen and bath products and services in the Atlanta and Southeast markets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develops and implements strategic marketing and sales plans and forecast to achieve brand objectives.
Develops and manages Sales/Marketing operating budgets
Works closely with the Director of Marketing to plan and oversee advertising and promotion activities including print, online, social media and direct mail.
Achieves satisfactory profit/loss and market share in relation to preset standards and industry and economic trends.
Oversees and evaluates market research and works with the Director of Marketing to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
Monitors competitors’ products, sales and marketing conditions
Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners
Establishes and maintains a consistent corporate image throughout all product line, brands and divisions, promotional materials and events.
Directs sales forecasting activities and sets performance goals
Directs staffing, training and performance evaluations to develop and control sales and marketing programs.
Directs market channel development activity and coordinates sale distribution establishing sales quotas and goals.
Meets with key clients, assisting Brand / Divisional and Sales Staff with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals.
Prepares periodic sales reports and plans showing sales volume, potential sales and areas of proposed client expansion.
Reviews and analyzes sales performance goals against programs, quotes and plans to determine effectiveness.

Formal sales training would be an advantage.
Proven track record of achieving sales growth and delivery of results to business plans.
