Director of Rooms – Hotel

Location: Menlo Park, CA

Salary: $100,000 - $115,000

My client is a renowned luxury hotel brand known for its exquisite accommodations and exceptional service. It offers employees a supportive work environment and opportunities for growth. They are seeking a Director of Rooms who is a strategic operations leader to focus on all aspects of Rooms Division.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all departments within the Rooms Division, ensuring adherence to standards and regulations, and developing strategic plans to differentiate services
• Lead community engagement and represent the property within industry associations, while maintaining positive guest interactions
• Manage human resources functions including recruitment, training, and performance management, to foster a supportive work environment and drive retention
• Oversee financial management, including budget preparation, expense control, and revenue generation initiatives

Key Requirements:

• 4+ years’ proven management experience in the Rooms Division in a luxury hotel
• MUST have experience in a 4 or 5 Star Hotel
• Strong knowledge of standard software applications and hotel systems
• Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve goals and objectives
