Director of Risk Management

Community healthcare facility looking to bring on a Director Risk!

Leadership and participation of departmental reports and patient safety initiatives. Includes reporting to various risk reduction teams, the CEO, Medical Staff Office, and Corporate Risk. Leadership and organizational skills is preparing claim files on potential and actual claims. Leadership skills in planning, organizing, and coordinating risk activities in relation to the mission, vision, strategic goals, and values, and in accordance with JCAHO’s standards.

• Bachelor’s degree, MS in nursing or Master degree in related field preferred.
• 2+ years experience in healthcare Risk Management.
• Clinical or healthcare experience preferred.
• 2 + years professional experience that demonstrates a progressive leadership background.
• Ability to perform statistical analysis on data collected via risk management reporting
• Interview skills and experience in incident investigation.
