Job Responsibilities
Oversee room inventory and room rate management and distribution across all platforms
Maximize overall hotel revenue through development and implementation of effective transient/group inventory and pricing strategies.
Coordinate with Front Office teams to maximize revenue through effective inventory management, successful upsell program, and sell-out efficiency
Generate and distribute room revenue forecast with high accuracy.
Communicate trends, forecast, future pace, and market trends and analysis results to property and corporate teams
Recommend and implement revenue management, pricing, inventory, and distribution strategies and best practices
Monitor, analyze, and optimize segment and channel production
Assist in preparation of annual budget, sales, and marketing plans
Analyze and review weekly/monthly STR reports, predict future results, and help create proactive strategies to increase market share
Comply with deadlines of requested reports, analysis or other requests by hotel and EOS Hospitality leaders
Align strategies and work closely with sales, marketing, ecommerce, and other stakeholder departments’ teams to meet and exceed business goals and maximize revenue and profit
Develop, monitor, and adjust group pricing strategies per property needs
Assist digital marketing and PR teams with offers and pricing for property promotions and property content
In-depth understanding, management and monitoring of revenue management and reservations related aspects of the property management system, booking engine, CRS – Central Reservations System, RMS – Revenue Management System, and distribution system(s) including rate code, inventory, and package setup
Manage third party channels and relationships by working with OTA market managers on opportunities, promotions, and market exposure.
Ensure rate parity across channels
Lead weekly revenue meetings
Attend meetings, complete special projects and other responsibilities as requested by General Manager or EOS Hospitality leadership based on property needs
Represent the revenue management team in all interactions and communications with both internal and external partners
Education, Experience And Skill Requirements
Minimum of 3 years hotel/resort revenue management experience
Independent hotel experience is preferred
Must be highly analytical and understand statistics and market conditions.
Ability to apply critical thinking skills to understand and solve complex problems
Must be proficient in Excel and quick to learn and setup new systems (PMS, CRS, etc)
Experience with OPERA (PMS), SynXis (CRS) and Duetto (RMS) preferred.
Must possess excellent communication, organizational, written, and verbal skills to articulate strategies and deployment to achieve strategies, present ideas, expectations, and information in a well-organized way.
Must be able to interact efficiently and professionally with a diverse group of people, i.e., potential guests, guests, management, and property teams.
Must be able to work independently with minimal direction.
