Amerilodge Group, a rapidly growing hospitality management company based out of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan is hiring for a Director of Revenue Management. We are looking for someone with multi-property Revenue Management experience, the ability to lead others, and the ability to drive total revenue at our portfolio of hotels across Michigan, Indiana and Ohio. General Summary

Under minimal direction and reporting to the CEO & President , the Director of Revenue Management implements and manages strategies to maximize total revenue of the Amerilodge portfolio. Implement tactics to take advantage of demand for all segments while working in conjunction with the General Managers to analyze current and future forecasts to support Revenue Management decision making. Model and encourage behavior consistent with the core values of Amerilodge.

Education/Experience

Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality or a related field or equivalent experience and a minimum of five (5) to seven (7) years in hospitality or a related field.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work independently to manage complex projects involving coordination of multiple participants and team aimed.
  • Act as leader for individuals and prepares plans and coordinates resources as required.
  • Implement Revenue Management strategies using available tools. Provide input to assist with strategic decision making.
  • Present and implement Revenue Management tactics for the rolling 12 months with focus on the next 90 days.
  • Implement and present measurements of Revenue Management Activities.
  • Manage Revenue Management and Pricing systems, including any tools that are Brand endorsed.
  • Perform Revenue Management trainings and workshops for executive and other team members in the portfolio to increase Revenue Management awareness and cultures.
  • Work closely with Sales & Marketing, Catering and F&B departments where applicable.
  • Act as the Revenue Manager for each property within the portfolio, own the revenue goals for portfolio, impact and influence hotel teams and all stake holders to drive revenue strategies.
  • Approve all revenue and pricing decisions before implementation.
  • Maintain excellent product knowledge regarding all hotels in the portfolio.
  • Review and track competitor set results on a daily basis to enable analysis of penetration indices and forecasting of competitor business.
  • Monitor forecast daily and implements changes needed accordingly.
  • Revenue management of all OTA sites and systems.
  • Monitor competitor pricing for all revenue generating departments and understand the dynamics of the local market, demand generators; recommend appropriate actions relating to pricing and market mix on this basis to the applicable team.
  • Collaborate with Meetings and Events teams on setting rates for groups and conferences after the minimum group base has been achieved
  • Manage all channels (CRO, GDS, internet direct and indirect) including but not limited to room types and sell strategy. Responsible for ensuring compliance with LIRG and managing OTA distributors in compliance with brand standards and rules.
  • Facilitate weekly revenue meetings with hotel teams and other stake holders.
  • Ensure all contracts/products are loaded accurately into brand application and monitor accuracy and effectiveness of systems including Holidex, Opera and Perform (or comparable brand application)
  • Provide input to the annual budget process on all revenue/pricing/sales mix aspects
  • Reviewing of daily, weekly and monthly reporting
  • Assist and coordinate NHOP Front Desk Systems and Applications
  • Responsible for IHG RFP (or comparable brand application) Profile & added to RFP notifications
  • Responsible for initial HCM (or comparable brand application) database content for portfolio
  • Perform quarterly Property Visits for systems review & training
  • Establish appropriate reports for NHOP such as Star, Agency 360, Easy View etc.
  • Conduct P&L review
  • Complete other duties as assigned
  • Must successfully complete education related to assigned duties and role

Working Conditions

Public, business atmosphere in which temperatures may vary within reason of indoor climates. Travel, in personal vehicle, within markets to accomplish above duties and responsibilities. Lifting and carrying up to 10 lbs. may occur and with assistance, moving up to 50 lbs. Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $80,000.00 per year
