Director of Retail Store Sales

This role is responsible for leading in all areas of store operations including, but not limited to, developing and implementing strategies to drive sales growth, increase revenue, and enhance the overall customer experience across our store locations.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Responsible for store sales goals being met by working with Store Leaders on comprehensive sales strategies to maximize profitability across all store locations.
  • Identify and implement sales strategies around products and services that support the Company’s mission.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, merchandising, and operations, to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives.
  • Provide quality leadership and support to Store Leaders, equipping them to hire and train top talent that preserves a world class level of client service.
  • Pinpoint performance gaps, addressing them timely and strategizing with all necessary teams to provide solutions.
  • Establish and maintain mutually beneficial relationships with key stakeholders, including our clients, vendors, and employe owners.
  • Provide on-the-spot coaching to promote positive results in store staff.
  • Develop an understanding of local and regional markets to provide insight on potential future store selections for company growth.
  • Continuously meet with Store Leaders to discuss operations, upcoming store events, promotions, and sales training.
  • Connect with senior management to develop annual budgets, forecast of individual store sales goals, as well as create business plans.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge in the jewelry market.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or relevant field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum of seven years of retail management experience as well as at least two years in a high level leadership or director role.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of time to all store locations
  • Valid drivers’ license
  • Strong people skills, with the ability to lead, listen, and support a team.
  • Organized to able meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a multi-location retail environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High level of integrity and dependability.
  • Results oriented mindset.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and make data driving decisions that are in the best interest of the company.
