Director of Real Estate and Facilities

Large retail organization is looking to hire a Director to oversee all Real Estate and Facilities for the company nationwide. This person will manage a portfolio of over 400 properties and perform the following:

• Set and execute the real estate strategy for the business
• Manage negotiations for a high volume of lease renewals annually
• Lead site selection for new locations, including negotiation of new leases
• Oversee capital improvement projects for owned facilities
• Ensure owned facilities have property management support
• Manage and lead staff
• Work closely with operations to understand property and location needs
• Analyze real estate and facilities costs and make recommendations to drive savings

Position requirements:

• Bachelor's degree required
• Strong experience with lease negotiations in a high volume environment
• Experience managing a property portfolio of 200+ locations
• Highly organized with attention to detail
• Strong business acumen
