Director Of RadiologyClick Here to Apply OnlineJob DescriptionLocation: North Shore Medical CenterPosted Date: 3/12/2024Job Type: Full TimeDepartment: 8419.52900 RAD - DIAGNOSTICDirector Of RadiologyPosition SummaryResponsible for the operations of all areas within the Imaging Services Department including Diagnostic Radiology, Special Procedures, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, Computed Tomography and MRI. Duties include, but not limited to: supervision and evaluation of all technical, clerical and ancillary staff utilized in the functions of the Imaging Services Department, establishing and monitoring effective policies and procedures to ensure the professional and ethical care of the patients served by these areas, budgetary responsibility and accountability for all cost centers under administrative oversight, directly responsible for maintaining payroll, business office and accounting issues, radiology information systems, quality improvement and assessment, planning and implementation of future services and equipment needs. To provide high quality Diagnostic Services while maintaining adherence to budgetary guidelines and productivity standards set forth by Hospital Administration. Accountable for the delivery of efficient, high-quality services to the patient, physician, and all customers, both internal and external, to the Imaging Services Department. Responsible for providing the administrative coverage of the Imaging Services Department during hours of operation.POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (including required licenses/certifications, education, and job knowledge/experience)Bachelor of Science or currently enrolled in program to attain Bachelor of Science (degree must be earned within 2 years of accepting position).Licensed as a General Radiographer in the state of Florida.
