Summary:

We are in search of a dynamic Director of Quality to oversee our product quality, cost, and delivery processes while optimizing production quality levels. This key role will involve close collaboration with stakeholders, as well as the planning, coordination, and direction of quality control programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage our Quality Engineering team effectively.

• Utilize data-driven insights to systematically enhance quality through the implementation of process improvements.

• Develop a strategic vision for the quality team.

• Employ root cause analysis techniques to identify and eliminate defects.

• Drive the implementation of process enhancements to streamline operations.

• Analyze statistical data, including internal defect rates and warranty claims, to refine product specifications and enhance outcomes.

• Establish and maintain quality control objectives to uphold stringent standards.

• Plan, facilitate, and organize training initiatives to enhance team capabilities.

• Maintain an active presence on the production floor.

• Ensure employees are equipped with appropriate tools, equipment, and personal protective gear for safe operations.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in the marine industry.

• 5-10+ years overseeing Quality and exceptional leadership abilities.

• In-depth knowledge of quality control standards, methodologies, and best practices.

• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and techniques.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a relevant discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Quality certifications.

This role offers a competitive base salary of $150K to $200K depending on experience. Plus, performance based bonuses and full benefits.
