Director of Quality

⚙️What you'll do:

• Develop and implement quality improvement strategies with senior leadership.
• Establish performance metrics, analyze data, implement corrective actions, and compile reports.
• Foster cross-functional relationships for collaborative problem-solving; promote open dialogue and fact-based decision-making.
• Oversee ISO Quality Management System (QMS) requirements, including documentation, auditing, and reporting.
• Develop quality control objectives to integrate quality into overall processes.
• Evaluate and monitor supplier performance and oversee corrective actions.
• Investigate nonconformities and verify corrective actions.
• Lead lean, standardized work, and continuous improvement activities utilizing Six Sigma.
• Collaborate with R&D teams for material inspections and audits.
• Oversee Quality team members and manage schedules to ensure optimal staffing levels.

💼 What you'll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of 5-7 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in the automotive, textile, or rubber industries
• Excellent project management skills.
• Fluent in ANSI/ASQC ISO 9001, with a preference for QMS implementation leadership.
• Fluent in QAP, FMEA, GMP, PPAP, HAACP, and other manufacturing control systems.
• Experience with LEAN Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools.
• Strong coaching and mentoring abilities.
