We are looking for an experienced product director – this person will be accountable for overseeing all
aspects of the production process from inception through completion to ensure the right creative and
quality standards as well as on time delivery of product, with the help of a production coordinator. This
person will also be involved and oversee inventory forecasting and management on a category, style, and
location level.
This full-time role is based in Nashville, TN and will report to the Chief Operating Officer. They can also
expect to work closely with our executive partner leadership, product development team, logistics team,
screen print facility and sewing facility in Los Angeles.
Responsibilities:
Establish, maintain and support healthy and communicative relationships with our
business partners across the production spectrum.
Efficiently manage the transition from development into production – proper hand off of
all technical design packages to proper resources to include our own sewing facility.
Manage and maintain internal and external time and action calendars to meet production
delivery demands.
Monitor processes and deadlines on critical production steps to include fit, fabric and trim
delivery, wash development and approvals and color standards to ensure adequate time
for confirmed production deadlines.
Communicate and troubleshoot daily on all ongoing production efforts. Work with all
vendor partners to ensure strong communication and problem solving.
Manage and oversee all purchase orders and cut tickets. Assist in the implementation of
a new PLM system as the company grows.
Monitor all vendor terms, invoicing and payments. Ensure healthy financial relationships
with all partners.
Manage the costing of all products.
Oversee quality control and engage in assurance checks and inspections to ensure
reporting and standards are being met and monitored.
Manage and maintain all fabric and trim inventory.
Continuously report and communicate production updates and potential delivery issues
with the team.
Actively maintain open to buy and forecasting spreadsheets for overall purchases.
Generate weekly and monthly selling reports at style and category level
Work with the graphic screen print team and oversee printing flow based on inventory
needs
Develops strategies to support supply chain and overall i+w strategies and goals
Qualifications:
Ability to see the big picture while managing numerous details
Must be an inspiring team player and partner and thrive in a very fast-paced environment,
and juggle multiple projects concurrently
Have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combo of education and experience.
At least 6 years of experience in production management with domestic factories.
Proficiency with pc software including Microsoft Office & PLM.
Fluency in Spanish not required, but a plus
