About the Position


Reports to: Senior Director of Marketing


BASIC FUNCTION AND RESPONSIBILITY

Supports and drives marketing execution across all brands. Contributes to show and event strategies along with new product launch marketing planning and execution, with additional focus on the aftermarket sales, in-store retail merchandising as well as supporting Amazon and E-Commerce sales channels now and in the future.


CHARACTERISTIC DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participates in Annual Operating Plan strategy and budget process with division presidents and team when required.
  • Supports Sr Director’s marketing strategy by brand (Aqua Hot, Coleman-Mach, Dicor, Maxxair, MCD, Suburban, et. al) with VP of marketing, aftermarket, and international sales, and ensures corporate strategy aligns with and supports divisional Annual Operating Plan objectives.
  • Participate in brand level Product Development Committee meetings to ensure marketing has the most relevant information for a specific product launch status and said information is communicated to the entire marketing team in a timely manner
  • Formulate marketing plans for new product launches and communicate and collaborate during Product Development Committee meetings to the brand.
  • Ensure marketing launch plans are clearly communicated and understood by the marketing team, leadership, the brands and our internal stakeholders.
  • Participates in marketing plans with objectives by brand, by product category, by product, participates or leads monthly brand level status calls by reporting on related projects and task status for each brand, this includes receiving
  • Ensures brand standards are upheld across all marketing platforms/channels and messaging.
  • Increases brand awareness and value across all customer segments through, but not limited to trade/retail shows and events.
  • Through marketplace and consumer feedback Voice of Customer and competitive analysis provide direction on product/service improvement and development.
  • Monthly reporting on status of marketing objectives and project status by brands to Sr, Director of Marketing, and the brand leaders.
  • Aligns product launch activities with quarterly product focus calendar, rolling marketing calendar detailing all marketing activities accomplished and upcoming through project management using Function Fox to track projects and associated tasks.

·      Define retail in-store programs to activate, direct and through Reps, and drive aftermarket sales channel.

·      Support and drive established strategy throughout the department and company.

·      Mentor and develop department personnel for growth within or outside the Airxcel family.

·      Drive from a marketing perspective for all brand product launches.

·      Continually develop positive relationships will internal stakeholders and brand employees you interact with.

·      Foster a data 1st mindset in the department and when the opportunity arises, companywide.

·      Continually educate our stakeholders to the value of a high-performance marketing program and its benefits as a revenue driver for sales.

·      Foster adoption and use of Airxcel’s PIM system and its DAM.

·      Foster and enhance Airxcel’s instore retail marketing and merchandising strategy.

·      Participate and provide input Airxcel’s E-Commerce and Amazon businesses.

Educational Benefits

Employees may be eligible for reimbursement of the cost of tuition for academic or vocational courses, subject to approval by the President, after twelve months of service.

Health Insurance

Upon the first of the month following date of hire, employees are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.

FMLA

Employees must meet three criteria in order to be eligible for FMLA leave.

The employee must:

• Have worked for the employer for at least 12 months;

• Have at least 1,250 hours of service in the 12 months before taking leave;* and

• Work at a location where the employer has at least 50 employees within 75 miles of the employee’s worksite.

Short-Term Disability

Upon the first of the month following 60 days of employment, employees are eligible for short-term disability insurance on a voluntary basis. The company pays 70% of the cost.

Life Insurance

Upon the first of the month following 60 days of employment, employees are eligible for company-provided life insurance.

Section 125 Cafeteria Plan

The company provides a voluntary benefit plan under Section 125 of the IRS Code which permits employees to pay for certain eligible expenses with pre-tax dollars.

Sick Leave

Employees accrue sick leave at a rate of 3.7 hours per pay period. Accrual continues up to a maximum of 48 hours.

Vacation/Personal Time

Your starting vacation time accrual will be 3.7 hours per pay period or 12 days per year. Accrual continues up to a maximum of 136 hours.

Upon the first of the month following 90 days of employment, employees are eligible for participation in the plan.

Compensation Range

$110,000-$120,000 Annually depending on experience

Bonus potential up to 50% of annual salary 


Requirements


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Detailed oriented and ability to identify anomalies.
  • Self-directed, forward-thinking, motivated, and able to work in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to collaborate cross functionally as well as able to work well independently to complete projects with total ownership.
  • Ability to bridge communications between technical and business stakeholders both verbally and written.
  • Effectively communicate questions, concerns, or issues as it relates to product marketing both internally and externally.
  • Ability manage external vendors as if they were part of our team
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Product Information Management (PIM) and Digital Asset Management (DAM)
  • Understanding of product management principles and practices

Qualifications:

  • 5-7 years of professional experience as a marketing manager or Director in a related position required.
  • Experience managing a team
  • Experience with adobe creative suite.
  • Ability to learn net technology platforms
  • Advanced MS Excel skills are required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Business Administration, Marketing, Project Management, or related field a plus
  • B2B and B2C and D2C experience a plus
  • Amazon experience a Pluss
  • e Commerce experience a plus


Additional Comments:

  • The position will be based in Colorado, where we have a hybrid work schedule with 1 day in the office 4 days are remote, with occasional all hands in-person meetings required.
  • Travel: one per month on average domestically


Salary Range $110,000-$120,000 annually.
