Position Overview

Based anywhere in the U.S., the Director of Product Management, Center Management will play a crucial role in our Product team, driving Teaching Strategies' evolution as a digital SaaS company.

You will lead the strategy, product planning, and success of our new Center Management system, encompassing critical functions like billing, payments, staff scheduling, and family communications for early childhood education centers.

Collaborating closely with the VP of Product Management, you will set and execute the strategy and roadmap. You'll work alongside product managers, developers, and UX/UI designers to develop and refine administrative tools that delight our customers.

This role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on product management, including roadmap planning, bug prioritization, and fostering alignment through data-driven analysis and problem-solving.

Roles & Responsibilities

Lead agile scrum teams to create and deliver center management solutions.

Define roadmap priorities and requirements in collaboration with product leadership, UI/UX, engineering, and stakeholders.

Drive decisions and actions across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.

Align on product vision and solution designs with engineering and QA teams.

Conduct customer research to validate new product concepts and maintain empathy for end-users.

Stay updated on market trends to guide product strategy and roadmap decisions.

Collaborate with Product Marketing, Sales, and Partner Success teams to launch products effectively.

Manage and mentor Associate Product Managers.

Occasional domestic travel for team meetings may be required.

Qualifications

Experience with Early Childhood Education (ECE) Center Management or Billing and Payments products.

8+ years of experience as a Product Leader launching high-quality software products.

Proven track record leading large, cross-functional teams in agile/scrum environments.

Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to see the broader ecosystem and provide impactful solutions.

Technical degree (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) preferred.
