Director of Product Management

JANUS et Cie is seeking a Director of Product Management of will lead the Product team, guiding the entire product lifecycle from conception through launch and its ongoing operation. Partners with the Product Development team, and collaborates with executive leaders, suppliers, external customers, and interdepartmental teams. Responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and execution of product portfolio.

This position is based in Santa Fe Springs, CA

Salary Range: $ 125k-$150k

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead and continuously refine the New Product Introduction (NPI) process.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute the new product roadmap.

Work with key stakeholders to set long-term vision and strategy for the company’s products.

Partner with stakeholders to develop pricing strategy.

Lead continuous product improvements.

Manage custom and unique projects.

Comprehensive understanding of product portfolio and vendor capabilities.

Coordinate with stakeholders and QA team to identify and implement solutions to address warranty claims.

Coach and develop team to enhance their skills in product management.

Conduct market research, competitive analyses, and customer feedback.

Lead and develop team of product managers, product coordinators and business analyst in gaining consensus to solve business challenges.

Continually gather and analyze data and business intelligence from external sources and internal sources (sales and client services) to create product roadmaps

40+ hours are required. Flexible hours are required as this position interacts with internal and external business partners in various time zones.

Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Directly manages Product Managers, Specialty Project Manager, and Product Coordinators.

Provides coaching, direction, develops and empowers direct reports.

Ensures workflow and processes are optimized to support business needs.

ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:

Interacts with all levels throughout organization including employees and outside vendors

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 8 years Product Management experience (preferably luxury furniture or goods).
• Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role.
• B.A/B.S. required.
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics a plus.
• Computer proficiency and specific software knowledge requirements: Microsoft Suite of programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
