Description Of Work

Position will serve as liaison to baseball performance support units on campus. Coordinate and devise individualized player development plans for the coaching staff. Mentor current student-athletes on reinforcing core values/standards of program, including working with academics to monitor student-athlete progress. Oversee support and student staff in video and technology areas along with assisting coaching staff in scouting. Assists in permissible recruiting efforts with prospective student-athletes, including on-campus visits. The selected candidate will have a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion. Weekend and evening hours are required with travel during the season.

Minimum Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s plus one year full-time baseball coaching experience at any level.

Preferred Qualifications

Three years of coaching baseball at the professional or college level. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations. Knowledge of scouting technology including programs like Rapsodo, Synergy and Trackman.
