Director of Organic Growth



ANNUAL SALARY RANGE: $175,000 - $200,000


POSITION OVERVIEW

The Director of Organic Growth will be responsible for driving the firm’s client acquisition and retention strategies through organic growth initiatives. This individual will work with Perigon leadership to achieve organic growth by developing and implementing strategies including optimization of processes, allocation of resources and enhancing sales and marketing strategies. The Director of Organic Growth will work extensively with lead generation platforms, custodial referral services and centers of influence, and will closely with Perigon’s Head of Advisor Success and Integration to onboard advisory teams into exiting lead generation channels.


This leadership role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in the wealth management industry, exceptional interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of market dynamics. This is a remote position that will require travel approximately 25% of the time.


COMPENSATION STRUCTURE

The compensation structure for this role will be comprised of an annual base salary, with a competitive incentive compensation piece that will based on AUM and revenue targets.

Perigon Wealth Management is a rapidly growing independent Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) based in San Francisco, CA. The firm manages approximately $7.5 billion in client assets as a fee-based fiduciary. In addition to our headquarters in San Francisco, we have offices nationwide including Hawaii, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Delaware, Georgia and Florida with plans for significant near-term growth and expansion into new markets. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement a comprehensive organic growth strategy aligned with the firm’s long-term objectives. Identify and prioritize growth opportunities, including target markets, client segments, and service offerings.

·     Client Acquisition and Retention: Lead efforts to attract new clients through innovative marketing campaigns, referral programs, and strategic partnerships. Enhance client retention by continuously improving client satisfaction and engagement through personalized service and proactive communication.

·    Centralized Sales Process: Development of a centralized sales process and channeling system for leads generated by the firm.

·     Collaboration and Relationship Management: Work closely with financial advisors, investment teams, and other internal stakeholders to align growth initiatives with client needs and firm capabilities. Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, industry influencers, and potential referral sources.

·   Performance Measurement and Reporting: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of growth initiatives. Regularly report on progress, insights, and recommendations to senior leadership.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Extensive experience with financial advisory lead generation platforms such as Zoe and Smartasset
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in financial services or wealth management industries ideally within an RIA, with a focus on business development, marketing, or client relations
  • Proven track record of driving organic growth and achieving revenue targets in a financial services firm
  • Experience working with custodian lead generation platforms such as Schwab (SAN) and Fidelity (WAS)
  • Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues
  • Proficiency in CRM software, marketing automation tools, and data analytics platforms
  • Proactive, strategic, and creative mindset with a collaborative approach to problem-solving
  • Experience developing centers of influence
  • Excellent communication skills, and the ability to present strategic growth plans to leadership
