The Director of Operations is tasked with running operations and delivery of services to help generate more revenue from both insured patients as well as cash patients. The position allows 100% working remotely from home in any U.S. state.
Areas of responsibility include:
Project Management – Manage, direct and coordinate projects and accounts through all stages: from planning and strategizing with team leads and account managers, to implementation and delivery of services to get optimized results for clients (dental offices and practices).
Contract Optimizations – Drive and manage critical accounts through the credentialing process, fee negotiations and renegotiations, strategy creation, and liaising between dental providers and insurance companies to optimize reimbursements.
Operational Processes – Evaluate internal processes and systems, and create and implement guidelines and best practices to improve and optimize current operational systems and processes through Trainual, Asana Project Management, and Google Sheets.
Continuous Quality Improvement – Keep up-to-date with information pertaining to changes, developments, and trends in the company’s Insurances, network with insurance companies, clients, and potential clients, in order to translate those knowledge, information, network, and connections toward meeting operational and business goals.
Onboarding – Oversee and manage the onboarding of new clients while supporting the Onboarding Team in answering operational questions, or inquiries from potential clients.
Team leadership – Interview and hire candidates for associates in the Fee Negotiations department. Onboard and Train new hires to company processes using Trainual, Asana and Google Sheets. Coach and develop associates in the department and participate in performance reviews. During reviews, discuss performance, goals, and career development and compensation review; and provide career motivation and mentorship.
Do YOU Meet These Requirements?
5 years’ experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
3 years’ experience working with dental insurance companies.
3 years’ experience acting as a liaison between dental providers, their practice and insurance payers.
3 years’ experience negotiating and optimizing insurance contracts for dentists.
3 years’ experience navigating the interconnections between different dental insurance companies, shared networks, and umbrella networks.
3 years’ experience using the following software: Asana Project Management, Trainual, and Google Sheets.
