We are seeking a highly creative and skilled Director of Operations for our Atomic North America team. Are you passionate about everything; from operations, best-to -class customer service and sales support, to perfect supply? Join our North America operations team!

In this exciting role, you will develop and build the North America team. You will be responsible of operations for the region and be the central interface between the North America market and our global headquarters. Atomic is one of the leading manufacturers of wintersports equipment and part of the Amer Sports Corporation.

Some of the key requirements and responsibilities of this position are

Operational Excellence Deliver best-in-market operational experience to internal and external customers.

Team Leadership Lead, inspire, and support the team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve the best OTIF, inventory position, and sales support.

Supply Chain Coordination Oversee regional product availability, inventory levels, and ensure communication with Brand Supply Chain leader and VP of Omni Channel.

Sales Operation & Customer Service Ensure an outstanding customer service experience at all touchpoints.

Forecast Accuracy Incorporate business intelligence and market/finance forecasts to support sales & planning accuracy.

Global HQ Relationship Foster strong connections with Atomic Global HQ, acting as the voice of Operations in NA.

Cross-Department Collaboration Develop and manage relationships with other Amer Sports teams (Credit, IT, DCs, Warranty, Salomon).

Operations Systems Organize and develop operational systems.

Order Book Policy Manage order book policy.

Direct Shipment Program Oversee execution and improvements.

OPEX Budget and Order to Cash Oversee operations OPEX budget, ensure execution aligns with budget.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in business administration/management. We are seeking a minimum of 5 years of experience in operations and team leadership.

Additional profile and required competencies

  • Completed business administration (university/UAS) degree, with a strong focus on controlling or a comparable education
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in operations and team leadership position
  • Affinity for numbers and accuracy
  • Deep understanding of reporting and analytical tool’s structure and logic (hierarchy trees, metadata, database architecture etc.). Preferably SAP AFO, PowerBI, SAP Cloud key-user
  • Strong leadership, analytical and communication skills, proactive and hands-on approach, team player
  • Business-fluent English skills, additional German language skills appreciated
  • Team-oriented and communicative approach in an intercultural environment
  • Passion for outdoor and winter sports
