Job Title: Operations Director

Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid Position with Remote Flexibility)

Reports To: CEO


Job Description:

UnifiedCommunications.com, a leader in A/V integration and collaborative technology solutions, is seeking an experienced Operations Director to drive operational excellence and rapid business growth. The Operations Director will oversee daily operations in our headquarters in Houston, TX, ensuring efficiency, spearheading process improvements, and maintaining high customer satisfaction within our innovative technology landscape.

Role Description:
  • Strategic Partnership with the CEO: Serve as a direct report to the CEO, acting as a crucial link for implementing strategic initiatives and operational decisions. Your ability to communicate effectively and collaborate closely with the CEO will be pivotal in steering the company's growth and operational success.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations across all departments, ensuring seamless integration of technology and automation to enhance productivity and client service.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements using methodologies like Kaizen and Six Sigma, driving efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Team Leadership and Development: Lead and develop a high-performing team, ensuring all members are aligned with the company's strategic goals and operational standards.
  • Client and Partner Engagement: Maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners, ensuring their needs are met and their expectations exceeded.


Qualifications:
  • Proven operations management and leadership experience in a technology-driven environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of managing complex projects and budgets effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working closely with both internal teams and external partners.
  • Knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Familiarity with business operating systems like EOS, Measure What Matters, Scaling Up,
  • Software like CRMs, ERPs, Office 365, Power BI, Project Management tools, etc.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, business, finance, or a related field; experience in IT, A/V, or technology industries is a significant plus.
  • Experience with optimization, Kaizen, Six Sigma, simplification, and automation is very helpful!
