This Director of Operations position is a rare opportunity to lead the evolution of a manufacturing site, taking it from a R&D focused start up environment to a multi-national facility with huge global commercialisation plans.
The site is in a unique phase where remarkable R&D activities now require the necessary processes and leadership to scale all aspects of operational efficiency. Part of a multi-national company, this surgical device & biotech manufacturing site requires a leader that can implement the necessary systems to scale it's capabilities WITHOUT losing the innovative spirit that exists today.
You will have the freedom to assess all existing processes before rolling out systems to enhance all operational aspects including (but not limited to): Performance reporting, financial structure, performance management, ERP, Production Planing etc.
While there are standard systems & procedures at multinational level, our client does not want to lose the entrepreneurial spirit of this site. As such, a leader that has experience evolving start up environments would be highly desirable.
In this role you will join the Global Operations team, influencing global Ops strategy and playing an integral role in the achievement of operational excellence worldwide.
