Director of Operations

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director of Operations to oversee and manage our entire manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management within the plastics industry. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, expertise in policy development, financial projections, and P&L management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the entire manufacturing process, ensuring efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to optimize production and operational workflows.
• Lead and manage a team of operations managers and supervisors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with the engineering and quality assurance teams to ensure product specifications and quality standards are met.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and manage budgets, financial projections, and P&L statements to ensure financial targets are met.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive initiatives to improve operational efficiency, reduce waste, and increase productivity.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of equipment to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, vendors, and customers to support operational needs.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations management within the plastics industry.
• Proven experience in policy development, financial projections, and P&L management.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and technology used in plastic injection molding.
• Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive operational improvements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools for operations management.
