Job Description: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Operations to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing manufacturing operations, driving process improvements, and leading cross-functional teams. As the Director of Operations, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing processes to ensure optimal efficiency, quality, and profitability.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage all aspects of the manufacturing operations, including production, maintenance, quality control, and supply chain management.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistent quality and safety.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve operational targets.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including R&D, engineering, and sales, to support product development and customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Manage and mentor a team of operations managers and staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Develop and manage the operations budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
  • Identify and implement process improvements and lean manufacturing techniques to reduce waste and enhance efficiency.
  • Lead initiatives to enhance supply chain management, including vendor selection and contract negotiation.
  • Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA or equivalent) is preferred.
    • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior operations management role within a manufacturing environment.
    • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean manufacturing principles, and quality control standards.
    • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
    • Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans and drive change initiatives.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in using ERP systems and other relevant software tools.
    • Experience with budgeting and financial management.
