Director of Operations

A leading food and beverage company is looking for a talented individual to manage the day to day distribution and logistics operations. You will be responsible for the management of the warehouse, transportation operations, 3Pl's inventory control, and cross dock operations.

Efficient Operations:

• Develop and implement processes to enhance efficiency.
• Monitor and analyze performance, making recommendations for improvement.
• Manage the supply chain from vendor selection to product delivery.

Team Management:

• Recruit, train, and lead an operations team.
• Oversee shipping, logistics, and inventory management.
• Collaborate with other departments to align production and inventory needs.

Compliance and Leadership:

• Ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
• Provide oversight and manage payroll.
• Cultivate a safety-focused culture.

Problem-Solving and Communication:

• Solve operational issues and propose solutions.
• Communicate effectively with written and verbal skills.
• Work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications:

• Minimum 7 years of operations management experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Masters degree a plus
• DOT regulations
• P & L management
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Lean principles.
