Role Overview

The Director of Operations supports the People & Talent and Operations teams by providing excellent customer service and support to Attivo's employees. The position will manage the client engagement process, help streamline operations, and coordinate all company events. The successful candidates will have a focus on setting goals, developing strategies, and thinking through long-term impacts rather than just executing operational tasks.

Responsibilities

Operational Strategy and Management

  • Develop, streamline, and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency, productivity, and promote a culture of excellence
  • Conduct system testing on tech stack integrations
  • Provide executive support for ad hoc projects

Client Engagement Process

  • Coordinate logistics and systems setup related to new client engagements
  • Assist with team staffing

Collaboration

  • Maintain Slack channels, Monday boards, and other internal and client collaboration tools
  • Facilitate internal meetings, including: All Hands, Water Coolers, Game Nights, Lunch & Learns, Collaboration calls
  • Administer reward and recognition programs

Event Planning

  • Own and drive all logistics and budget related to annual retreat
  • Manage regional gatherings 4x a year, including accommodation, workspace, dining, training sessions, and others

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams
  • Strong skills in streamlining operations, problem solving, and team building
  • Ability to manage up, helping management prioritize
  • Experience in managing large-scale projects from initiation to completion
  • Proven ability to identify inefficiencies and drive implementation of process improvements
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
  • Ability to align operational activities with the overall strategic goals of the organization
  • Experience in implementing technology solutions to improve operational efficiency
  • Strong tech experience in the following preferred: Monday, Slack, Google Workspace, Dropbox, Lastpass, Rippling, and Bizinta
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiations skills and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality
  • Ability to operate with minimal guidance while exhibiting critical thinking
  • Ability to juggle multiple projects under tight timeline
  • A customer service focus, and the ability to partner with internal and external stakeholders and partners
  • Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative
  • Ability to be flexible and adapt to learn various software platforms that you may not be familiar with

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Management or related field, or equivalent work experience, required
  • Ten years of experience in operations management, ideally in a fast-paced technology, or professional services environment
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing operational strategies and processes

Salary Range

Attivo offers a competitive base plus bonus, and opportunities for advancement. The starting salary range for the Director of Operations is approximately $125,000 to $150,000 per year plus bonus.

Benefits for full-time employees include: Health, Dental, and Vision Insurance (100% coverage for employees on base plan, 70% coverage for additional family members), participation in Flexible Spending Accounts and 401(k), 3 weeks PTO, voluntary Life Insurance & Disability plans, and work-from-home allowance. Primary caregivers and others requiring a flexible work schedule or reduced hours are encouraged to apply; benefits may be prorated for part-time hires.
