The Director of Operations oversees the Senior Management Staffing in the development and attainment of appropriate goals for the Company.
Key Position Results
Support the Companies Safety Program.
Oversee all plants at the Wooster Facility.
Deploy lean manufacturing initiatives, housekeeping and continuous improvement strategies.
Proper utilization of Labor.
Review and understand all financial or activity statements and/or other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement to identify areas needing cost reduction or program improvement.
Direct and manage activities of departments associated with production and distribution of products.
Direct all activities related to making products or providing services.
Direct and manage financial/budget activities, maximize investments and increase efficiency.
Establish and implement departmental policies, goals and objectives to meet the needs of the overall business.
Manage the movement of goods into and out of production facilities to ensure efficiency, effectiveness, or sustainability of operations.
Ensure adherence to ISO14001 & IATF continually improving quality performance.
Critical Skills, Knowledge And Abilities
Ability to effectively communicate orally and written, to all internal and external customers.
Computer literate
Knowledge of working within a Union Facility
Experience in a Team Based Culture – Servant Leadership
Knowledge of ISO14001 & IATF
Knowledge of Large Class A Stampings and Assemblies
Education
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business and/or related field
