We're committed to innovating and educating at the forefront of the cannabis industry by producing premium talent parallel to a rapidly evolving market demand, and it all starts with you: our Admissions team.

The Position:

We are seeking an exceptional Director of Online Admissions who is passionate about education and has a proven track record of success to join our dynamic team. If you’re an elite admissions leader with an unparalleled work ethic and a proven track record of success, we want to hear from you.

  • Strategic Visionary: You're a strategic thinker who can develop and execute innovative admissions strategies to attract and enroll top-tier students.
  • Exceptional Leadership: You're a strong leader with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop your team to achieve exceptional results.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: You're adept at using data to make informed decisions and continually improve your admissions strategies.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: You're a skilled communicator who can effectively engage with prospective students, parents, and other stakeholders.

  • Support and optimize our enterprise, student-centered enrollment workflows and processes.
  • Demonstrate a high level of program knowledge to assist students and deliver personalized, superior, branded communications through video, phone, email, and text.
  • Listen, listen, listen. You are here to make admissions qualification decisions and enroll students. We're looking for the right fit - not just to fill classes.
  • Host open houses, recruitment events, school events, and industry events as the role (and your interests!) dictate.
  • Develop admissions advisors and support personnel: make hiring decisions, provide coaching and mentoring, manage performance, proactively determine staffing needs, develop and ensure succession.
  • Ongoing effort to support and contribute to Cannavision’s commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity and ability to effectively relate to and work with prospective students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Serve as a key liaison across the other departments to ensure an operationally efficient premium student experience, including marketing, financial aid, student services and career services.
  • Stay up-to-date on and promote our culture of compliance and carefully follow the compliance, regulatory, and procedural processes.
  • Flexible to work evening and weekend shifts as your team needs to achieve its goals.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years experience of successfully managing admissions teams, with a proven track of success meeting and exceeding goals; and the references to back it up!
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field from an accredited college
  • Interest in/knowledge of Cannabis preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and lead a high-performance team
  • Strong project management experience
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple departments
  • Ability to identify new student markets and understand the competitor landscape
